Payment

Payment is due on the 1st of the month and may be paid no later than the first lesson of the month.  It is import that payments are made on time. If payment is not made by the 10th of the month a $20.00 late fee will be added to your tuition.

 

Additional Terms: 30 day notification if you wish to terminate lessons.

 

Absence Policy

If a lesson must be missed, with the exception of illness, notice must be given at least 24 hours in advance by calling 513-885-0266. 

 

If you cannot reach me, a message may be left on the answering machine at the studio where lessons are given.  If you fail to give me adequate notice you will be charged for my time unless I am able to fill the vacancy, excepting for illness or serious emergency.

 

Any conflict with a sporting or school event must be disclosed by the first of the month.

 

You will be charged for all scheduled lessons whether or not the student shows up for the lesson.

 

Lessons are scheduled on a monthly basis.  If you wish to terminate instruction, please notify me one moth in advance.

Expectations

The student should play to purchase study materials.  Since learning to play an instrument requires a good attitude and discipline, playing every day assures that a student is always learning new things, avoiding boredom and continually feeling good about improving.

 

The student should expect to practice 5 days a week for:

            - a minimum of 30 minutes if taking a 30 minute lesson

            - a minimum of 45 minutes if taking a 45 minute lesson

            - a minimum of 60 minutes if taking a 60 minute lesson

            - Whatever it takes if preparing for contest or concerts.

 

The Waiting Area

The waiting area is provided at each studio for convenience of parents & students.  Parents or guardians are responsible for their own children and appropriate behavior (no running, no shouting, etc) is expected.  Street & Reis Violin Studio or I are not responsible for any accidents when children are left unattended.

 

Student Discounts

Students at Street & Reis Violin Studio are entitled to a 10% discount off the retail price for any item purchased at the ASV store.  Student discounts may not be added to other discounts such as special sale prices.
